Dr. Kathleen J Meyer D.O., specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). She graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, with a teaching Fellowship in neuromusculoskeletal medicine in Ft. Worth and is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine.

She started out her medical career with a private practice in California and then moved back to Wisconsin to join the Marshfield Clinic. She moved to the Appleton area and before joining Family Care of the Fox Cities she practiced at the Osteopathic Medicine and Physical Therapy Group.

Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) is a unique and effective hands-on approach to healing. Her skills in this highly specialized field will supplement those of the family medicine physicians at Family Care of the Fox Cities. She treats patients of all ages, with a particular focus on infants and children:, for a wide range of issues.
Dr. Meyer is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Osteopathy and is on the faculty of the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation.

She is married and has two children. Her husband, Steve , also trained in manipulative treatments received his master’s degree in physiology in Texas and is licensed in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. They have used their complementary styles of manual medicine to treat patients at the same time, often achieving enhanced results. To relax, Dr. Meyer enjoys gardening, reading, and cooking.
